Those were cruel times, when God's will was more powerful than life itself.

The Elbe River basin was home to many Slavic tribes and clans who lived in harmony with Mother Nature, using her resources with respect and for a specific purpose. Despite the vast distances separating their lands, the Slavs understood each other easily. This fostered trade and cooperation, resulting in many people travelling from one settlement to another, bringing goods, knowledge and services.

However, when lands are surrounded by enemies, no one can travel safely. The merchants you and your team were protecting on their way to Gana were attacked and murdered. You can thank the gods for saving your lives, but first you must quickly tend to your wounds and find shelter.

Unfortunately, winter is never kind to the weakened.

About Słowica

It is a first-person action RPG set in the 10th century, during the Polabian Slavs' struggle for survival against invaders from the west. Słowica lets the player control the main character, who finds himself wounded in the forest.

Multilingual support

Słowica offers you two language versions to choose. You can switch between them during gameplay. If you want to contribute and add another language to the game, you will be able to do it easily. All that is needed to add a new language is to translate the language file in the folder "Języki" and add the language's icon :)
